Carolyn Washington believes her God-given purpose is to help women, regardless of race, class, or religion. To realize this goal, Washington founded Sisters 4 Sisters, Inc., seven years ago. ‘‘We have been able to really make a long-lasting difference with women and various organizations in our community,” said Washington, 43, whose organization is based in Lanham, MD.
‘We have come a long way and still have a long way to go.” In 2006 alone, she held many programs to improve the lives of women. Sisters 4 Sisters donated more than 800 pairs of new undergarments to a women’s shelter, more than 500 back-to-school items to families in need, passed out Thanksgiving baskets to single mothers and other women in need, and donated business attire to aspiring businesswomen.
Washington is a nationally recognized leader who has direct exposure and experience with the issues facing women today. These issues supercede race, class, ethnicity and socio-economic boundaries. As such, Carolyn brings a unique perspective to the audiences she addresses. Sisters 4 Sisters and Carolyn Washington continues to empower women through dynamic workshops, teleseminars and conferences.
From Financial Workshops,Weight Management Courses,and Self Motivation Workshops Carolyn's goal is to Enhance and Educate women with information that can positively impact their lives. Sisters4Sisters also encourages women to Give Back to Sisters in our community who are less fortunate. The mission of the organization is to bring women together from all walks of life in order to make a Difference which will last for a Lifetime!
