Norma Doneghy  Anderson is the founder of SALONVOICES Community Connection, Inc. (SVCC).  SVCC is a nonprofit whose platform is their website SalonVoices.org.  The site boasts contents ranging from health awareness issues (Asthma, HIV/AIDS, Child Insurance options, Medicare/Medicaid) to parenting tips with a featured segment called “Homework Help for Kids”.

Ms Anderson has been an educator, an IBM manager and Program Director with an executive women’s leadership organization.  In addition to SVCC, her passion is in providing urban women with knowledge to protect themselves against unplanned pregnancies and HIV/AIDS. Her work includes developing SVCC and its’  website, teaching reproductive health  to cosmetology students, and for the salon environment, teaching Professional Work Force Practices.
